Ebay payment question/advice

Someone wants to buy something off one of my BIN auctions but says he does not have PP or CC and wants to either pay by cash or PO. He resides in the same country as me. Is this safe for me to do, any pitfalls, if I accept payment this way?

just ask him to send it with delivery conformation so you both know where in route the money is at. If both send with delivery confirmation the only downfall that i could think off is that you wont get any positive feedback because it was outside of ebay but other then that its a pretty good thing because you will be saving money on both ebay and paypal fees
