Ah. Google is your friend. So the seller is the illustrator/designer as well.
Man, I wish Hot Toys would make a '66 Batman.
The next one is already at $500, with the same 2 guys bidding up the price as with the first one... I smell something fishy...
"...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan Poe
So it's a custom painted head and a mostly Doc Mego outfit, right? Anyone know where the belt is from? The box is beautiful, but the price is kinda crazy.
WH--? Where in blazes are we, Wall Crawler?
yea im starting to think he has people bidding up the price
It does seem a bit fishy, but there are some serious 66 Batman collectors out there. This has that "cross-over" appeal...especially if someone is looking for something different for a collection.
The only thing good about this auction is the box. The figure is a joke. I think there is a little shell bidding going on.
The box is GREAT.
The figure is fine too, and I certainly wouldn't mind it at all ... but NOT at those prices.
I agree with the price that was brought up in a previous post ... around $ 120.00 - $ 150.00 would see it out fro me.
I just checked out the other stuff he sold ... NICE artwork on everything, and the Japanese style lunchbox is inspired (the Japanese collector in me WANTS ONE), but the prices are just over the top.
Sorry to be slightly off topic.
