One of the best vampire movies ever made. A fan put together the clip below. Great song.

Yeah, big fan of the film.

Oddly enough the wife and I have run into Romero in Toronto. I was convinced it was a guy who looks like him but sure enough he lives here now.

Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I live near Pittsburgh. So by LAW, I have to like the Movie.
The coolest thing is how it set a mythical creature like a vampire into a real world setting. This was way before Whitley Strieber started doing the same thing with "The Hunger" and "Wolfen".
The ending always had a different feel for me. Maybe because of how we are made to sympathize with the character.

It's been as long time, but I remember liknig it quite a bit. It had a very unique feel.

Love the movie, but I don't really consider it a real vampire movie. It's obvious he wasn't a vampire and that the movie is really about parental conditioning or something. I haven't seen it in maybe 10+ years, but it's obvious Romero was trying to say something.
