I watched this movie with my son over the Winter and having never seen a Sinbad film before, he loved it and I loved it. There's something simplistic about it that will never be able to be captured on film again. I'm surprised that this franchise is just sitting on the shelves but after the Hobbit this year, there will probably be another wave of those types of films soon enough so who knows if a Sinbad relaunch won't be in the works. Then again after John Carter, probably not.
While not an action figure line, the Tomland Cyclops was based off this movie wasn't he?
