Yeah I fought with one of those over the long weekend.

Word to the wise:

1) There are thick black plugs in the arms, take pliers and tear them out, first thing. The only purpose they serve is to annoy you.

2) The arms simply do not fit together well, brace for frustration.

Other than that, it's nice to see this kit reissued so nicely just wish round two hadn't been so faithful to the original MPC.

Seems like it could be a good kit to do some customizing on. I might have to check and see if my local hobby/model shop gets one in.

(And I'll be sure to have my pliers handy! )

I had the same experience Brian had but with the DS werewolf kit !
The arm pegs had to be torn out and the fit was such a pain I could only glue several inches at a time on the body. The nice thing is that you get extra Mego scale heads, hands , and props for customizing.

Am I nuts, or did I read these kits come with two pairs of arms, and one is a bendy set?

This may be another kit that me and the boy tackle when Drac and Wolfman are finally finished.

Yeah the bendy arms looked complicated and I had texted a model kit buddy about the kit itself and his first response was "don't even bother on the bendy arms!"

I purchased this kit and the one of Barnabus a while ago ... went off on a repro Aurora Monters kick for a while, and those kits sorta' fitted in with them.

Here's the werewolf I did.
I used the glow parts, but painted the details with heavy washes and hard wipe-offs to leave the high points free of paint.
It looks good in the light, but Awesome in the dark!

Bumping this thread. Just bought the Werewolf kit so my daughter doesn't have to do her Frankenstein alone. Glad to know the bendy arms aren't worth the trouble.

Once you glue the torso and legs together, can you swap the non-glow and glow heads? Seems like you can. Same with the hands, if you don't glue them.

They look like a lot of fun and gotta LOVE the box art!
