You're right Mike. Looks to me until Nowlan/Bale came along most directors didn't bother investing much in Wayne/Batman's screen presence. Bale is a little more complex that the previous film actors portrayals but still very quiet as Wayne.

I think Tomy Lee Jones could'a carried a whole film as Two-Face but the studio probably didn't have the faith in him to do it. Kind of a waste to see him killed off when they could'a brought him back for sequels. I'd like to have seen Carrey as The Joker. He would'a been great as Joker.

I actually like "Forever" the least of any Bat-flick.

    Yeah, even Batman & Robin.

Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl was gorgeous !!!!!!

I still can't believe some critics called her "fatgirl" -- how crazy was that ?

They're all massively disappointing movies, in my opinion.

The first one had some impressive production design and I liked the cool combination of art deco and gothic styling for Gotham, but the movie was a huge let down overall, as were all the sequels.

Still waiting for the definitive Batman movie.

You beat me to it. No one can touch the performances of The Riddler, Catwoman, Batgirl, or The Penguin from the '66 show.
