    Ape My Project CIPSA Cornelius

    Hello all,

    Excuse my poor English sentence.

    UPDATED:

I've been worked very hard on the Mego T-2 brown Ape body with Cornelius/Galen head and black lower torso (pelvis) in 3 days and nights. I sanded and polished the body well then I've been very difficult to put all the body parts together that CustoMego is works right same thing I did the other way. I replaced on the right lower leg with knee pin, had repro that's very difficult to removed it so I had to drilled it off and put an original Mego complete knee pins back (from piecemaker), looks good. I have left over Mego Brown T-2 Ape body parts that I'm keeping them used to replacing another Ape body in which body part(s) have been damaged when I receives it in the future.

The Mego brown T-2 body and head from piecemaker, Mego black pelvis from Reptilesrmt and an original mint CIPSA glyphic boots from nayrbgo. Thank you so much guys for helping me out with these parts!!

I turned this upper body around one time, to hold the arms and legs.

I sanded almost all off the copy right on the back (like CIPSA style) and the body then polished it, looks very nice!

I'm finished fixed on the left foot that had cracked but it bonds very strong used with super glue.

This is complete body with an original mint CIPSA glyphic boots, looks really nice!!

I sent PM'ed Theressa and asked her to making a repro Cipsa Cornelius shirt for me.

Also, Our member Lonnie (aka Reptilesrmt) have an original Cipsa Cornelius shirt that's missing it's original cuffs, he sent his shirt to Theressa last Monday.

She'll fixing the brown vinyl cuffs for him then will copy his original Cornelius shirt to making repro one is for my naked Cornelus.

I'm so glad Lonnie, Bryan and Theressa are helping me out, thank you all!!

When I receives a repro shirt then will put it on my Mego/Cipsa Cornelius then will post a new thread in the Finished Customs section board for you to seeing them.

I just borrow this pics from our MM member, need to showing them to Theressa. She'll start working on it in more days.

It's getting late night, will be back in the afternoon to edting this thread and adding more information with pics. Stay Tuned!

    Looking good!
    I appreciate the pics too.
Now that I have an original shirt on loaner and to be restored, material picks and work will be a lot easier.
Much thanks to Lonnie for this!

    Ape Thanks Guys and Gals!!

Oh, wow.... thanks guys and gals for kind words!!

I thought no body interesting my CIPSA project, I'm glad to see you posting here!

I just got back home from mother's house that she asked me to feeding her 2 small dogs while she's gone with her best friend in Houston. After that I went near back home and a small white car ran over the street a very fast and wrecked into my Truck!!!!!!!!! But my Truck is pretty fine... Long stories, will post in General Buzz when my head is clear. It busted my back of head and back spine pretty bad, I blacked out durned wrecked but I'm ok.

I took some pics of my project Cipsa Cornelius body (yesterday) that I'm finished sanded in the center of the hip and knee pins to make them looks like CIPSA style.

That looks pretty good I think.

    Close Ups:

Sanded on the sides of hip and knee pins, to make it dimples as original CIPSA. Looks pretty good!

    Ape Added information and pics

I'm finished cleaned the Mego Galen head today and I put his head on the top of pencil and then punched in the box hole, to keep the head and stem holds while I'm painting his head. Not yet but will be ready to painting the Galen head with green ears by tomorrow.

I went to the Michael's Crafts and Arts store tonight and bought 2 different shades of acrylic red and black paints (for the eyes and hair) is for my custom Mego/Cipsa Cornelius.

NOTE: on the right side is Peter Burke that has some brown stains, won't comes off. So, I used to testing painting on Peter's eyes to see if it's matches or not on my custom Cipsa Cornelius's eyes.

I borrow this pics from our member piecemaker that he posted in my thread in the Mego Fact section board:

Is the CIPSA Cornelius head black or dark brown? - Mego Fact
