Thread: Donna Summer Dead

I heard all her stuff being played at my local supermarket, but had no idea that she had passed. The DJ didn't mention it at all.

Every time I hear a block of songs by the same person, I always wonder if they died. Apparently she hid her illness for quite sometime.

Heard it this afternoon on the "seventies lunch" radio show, they played a few of her songs as a tribute. Never heard a bad or semi-so song from Donna Summer...they were all good!

RIP Donna Summer, the Undisputed Queen of Disco!

Sad news about a talented and underrated songstress. I've listened to a lot of her stuff and she was waaay more about rock than she was about disco, which is kind of the corner her publicists painted her into. She will be sorely missed. RIP, Donna, and condolences to her family and friends...
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
