That IS interesting. The only thing I didn't care for was the generic faces shown. Are they actually sculpting your likeness or just pulling a generic head and stating "This is close." I would like to see some other sample besides what is shown there.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

    Tardis

Very interesting idea with almost limitless possibilities----but only IF they can get the likeness of the action figure close enough to the person to be recognizable. If I were having an action figure done of myself, it would look something like....

    ...this...

    Or maybe...

    ...this...

    Or maybe even...

    ...this!!!

Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I saw that last night as well and thought it was neat to see all those custom 12" clothes.

I'd consider it down the road but I want to see some more mego ones done.

I'm not positive about the process, but it looks like you send in two pictures of your face - one from the front, and one from the side. A 3d rendering program meshes your facial features into a unique 3d model. I was reading the FAQs, and one of the unwanted issues that can happen is that little black, circle, artifacts can be left on your forehead. Still, it looks really cool.

There are a lot a cool new outfits(graduation gowns, wedding dresses, etc, etc.) I certainly hope that the company markets all the new outfits seperately on their other sites.

The same idea as the bobble-heads Entertainment Earth offers, I'd imagine.

I'd love to see some nice up-close photos of a real person with their figure.

That's the first I noticed too. None of the testimonials shots can be blown up.

Where the heck did those pro wrestling body types come from? Are they 12 or 8 inch?

Isn't this the same process as Herobuilders?

I'm guessing it's 3D printers. I can't see a roto factory pumping out heads on request.

If that was the case, we'd flood them with business.

    EDIT:

OK. It's the same process as Herobuilders.

Yeah looks like a rip off of ThatsMyFace.com but interesting none the less. I hope they sell some of those 12 inch outfits soon.

Hilarious bogus testimonials. I love the one from the Kiss Demon, Dale Torborg.
