New character for Iron Man 3

So they announce who Badge Dale will play but leave us hanging on who Ben Kingsley will play. I don't see how he plays anyone other than the Mandarin. He just looks perfect for the part and he's one of IM's biggest foes.

I would say the photo in this article pretty much confirms it in my mind.

OH YEAH!!!! If he's not playing The Mandarin, then MARVEL STUDIOS might be making a giant misstep....
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

In a talk show, the host addressed him as Ben, at which Kingsley corrected it to "Sir Ben, if you please". He surely has the arrogance of The Mandarin...

That is becoming a rather huge cast! I think Kingsley would be terrific, although rumors are that the movie is based on the Extremis storyline which might make him the big bad from that one. Also, since it is shaping into a co-production with China, one might imagine that a character named the Mandarin might be played by an actor native to that country. Although they do already have a marquee name for that market in Andy Lau.

    The Mandarin should be Asian.

He should be Chinese or even Japanese, indeed.
It would be great if we could put aside dressing up white people with fake asian eyelids.
    How about Ken Watanabe?
