Frankly, it's stupid. There has never been a chrome Batmobile before, let alone a Barris Batmobile

I don't see it but what the hey. Obviously Mattel had to pay Barris an arm and a leg to untangle all of the legal mess with the Batmobile. They will probably reissue this in tope eventually.
