That's a great set. But I think I got more play outta my Battleground set and the Civil War set. I'm a huge Marx playset fan. They were really well made with much attention to detail. I had about 10 different boxed sets and a ton of parts back in the mid 90's. I still luv 'em.....
All I have left is one Indian....he must've been the sole survivor of the last battle played.

~~~~These we played with for hours.I still have some of the wall pieces and several figures.I do remember a big metal looking cabin with a flag post on top of it that was in the set also.

I had a similar one but it probably wasn't Marx. I don't know who made it but it was a metal case that looked like a metal briefcase. It unfolded flat and the sides of the case were the fort walls. It also had those square buildings that clipped onto the corners (like the ones in the pic).
I think it was also called Fort Apache but I'm not sure.
I remember it was pretty cool and had a lot of fun playing with it. It is looooooong gone.
