Just wondering why this volume goes for so much money? I have sold two so far between $120 and $160 bucks......

The few I have left are sealed but it says January 5th to June 29th 1947 on the cover....

Weird - maybe because it's got a sexy cover? Strange.

Is it out of print or was it a short run?

I don't think so.....I know this was some of Eisner’s first work since he returned from the war, unless his style changed dramatically I am baffled.

I'm pretty sure the return of Eisner volume is #12.

                Yeah, #12:

His post-war stuff is when he started playing and experimenting more - and people usually consider this his best Spirit work. I have a handful of the Archives, I've been slowly picking them up over time, but I don't have #14 yet. Hopefully I can still find a copy!

I just checked out all the covers, it does have the sexiest cover of the run. Maybe buyers think that means the contents are sexy as well.
