Trading at Mego Meet

Planning on making it to my first Megomeet. So how does the trading go on at this thing? Are attendees allowed to bring in backpacks and shoulder bags? Do you wonder around asking people if they have trade stuff? Will I be reduced to wearing a sandwich board with my trade list posted on it?

So your dad has frequent discussions with you on this subject? I guess you'll be easy to spot at the meet. I'll say hi.

There really isn't anything official for a swap meet, just sort of feel your way around. I don't see alot of trades going on at the Meets, but I'm probably missing them. The bottom line is you're coming to the show so you'll come out on top regardless of any deals you could potentially make.

I've traded there before. Just bring your stuff and if you see something at a dealer's table, barter away. The worst that can happen is they say "no...cash only."

Since you brought it up: do any of the vendors take credit cards or are these cash only deals?

Credit card sales are rare - bring cash unless you've got Paypal mobile
