What a Baron Karza figure might look like today

This is the latest iteration of Jeeg. The character figure that Baron Karza and the other magnetic body Micronauts were based on back in the day.

I think, as a long time MICRONAUTS fan, I prefer the original BK...

A little bit Darth Vader, a little big hippie (due to his long, curly whatever coming off the back of his helmet), but all badarse!!!
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

The Jeeg is form the last series:

....hee heee.... giant robot violence! Anyhoo; it's interesting to make the Micronaut tie-in, 'cos I think the new Jeeg looks a lot like the Acroyears from the 90's mini-magnetic Microman series.

"Mullet of Evil" I like that. I think I'll have that put on a shirt!

Totally agree that the original is King or uh Baron.
Since when did the Baron turn Japanese?

Karza is awesome. I've never been able to bring myself to sell either version I have.

Karza (& force Commander, Green & Red Baron & Emperor) is a recolor of an earlier Japanese character toy - Kotetsu Jeeg - with a new head to replace the Japanese original. Various companies have produced toys of Jeeg in many formats over the years, and several high-end Japanese robot toy manufacturers have revisited the character. Jeeg also had a recent revisited animated show, and of course elaborate magnetic toys have been produced of that reimagined version as well.

Cool, thanks for the history . He doesn't look very "dark" though does he?

Jeeg? No, it doesn't. Honestly, I've never enjoyed the original Jeeg concept, anime or manga. It just doesn't click with me at all as well as Mego's repurposing of the toy. Apologies to Goh Nagai. It's just not Mazinger or Getter Robo.
