Plaid Stallions Little Big Man On Motorway Patrol

My pal Dom from Vintage Toyz and Collectibles sent in this new addition to our Palitoy Little Big Man gallery and it's quite a big deal. This is due to the fact that before now, most LBM collectors thought it didn't exist.

It's not everyday a toy never thought to be produced surfaces, it's even crazier when a boxed one arrives, so kudos to Dom for sharing his fun discovery with us.

Wow, I never even heard of these. When did they come out?

I think the question might be where did they come out?

I know these are Palitoy, but I swear I've seen these before, maybe in an old Sears catalog? Kind of a dejavu moment, they look so familiar yet I don't think there's anyway they made it to the states. The orange traffic cones are a terrific action accessory.
Is it still insecurity if I fear my job is going to let me go because they don't realize how awesome I am?

Maybe what makes it seem familiar it that Corgi produced a set that looked almost exactly like it ...

It's amazing someone thought it was so cool to have a traffic cone guy that they copied it and made a competing one.
