Badfinger appearance in a Comic Book...

I hope someone can help me out with this. Back in the 80's I know there was an independent comic done, I think it was from Eclipse or First or Pacific, that had the group Badfinger as a band in a bar. I think it took place in the future. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out which book it might be in. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks.

I think I know what you are talking about and I think some things are right but not how you worded it. Let me look around in my knowledge of music and friends in my private club on Facebook. One of us is bound to know what you are talking about.

PS. I notice your signature. Isn't it a Pity is one of my favorite songs. Hell, George Harrison was the underrated Beatle. I think All Things Must Pass was a brilliant album and if Harrison was buried under Beatlemania I think he could have had a good career as a brilliant leader of a band but he had way too much **** on his plate and people chasing him around even during his solo years. I'm one of the rare people that owns all of his work on LPs and CDs.

Alex Ross is a HUGE Badfinger fan. I believe he slipped them into one of his works. Maybe Hellraiser or that NOW Terminator series he did? I don't think it was Marvels. Wizard did an Alex Ross special that covered all of his hidden easter eggs up to that point. I'll have to dig up my copy and look.

Ah okay, it was Marvels. I couldn't remember for sure. Knew it was Ross.

It's not Marvels that I am thinking about. I know they were in it as well as The Who and a couple of other bands. This was definitely an indy comic...and for some reason I'm thinking it might be in Grim Jack for some reason. The backup feature. Mudens Bar?? It's a splash page with Badfinger on stage. But it may be the last version of Badfinger with Tom Evans and Joey Molland only...from the Airwaves LP.
