On my two trips to China, to adopt my kids, I stayed just outside the city
limits of Hong Kong on an island where the U.S. embassy is. We all stayed
in the White Swan hotel (jokingly referred to as the White Stork) and in
each room was a boxed Barbie holding a Chinese baby!

The coordinator told us that "che che" was thank you in Chinese so all ten
families said that. No wonder why the waiters and clerks all giggled when
we spoke.
