Hi Heroes!

I'm Johnny Techman, I am a fan of the Mego action figures. I used to have a number of them growing up, from Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, Superheroes, and others. Hopefully one of these years I can have them again to go with my other action figures in my collection. Only time and money will tell. In the meantime, I have this place as well as Mego Museum to give me a Mego fix! And maybe some new friends along the way, too!

Hi. I am Andy Jackson (name from favorite Mego Toy )

I have been Figure collecting for over 20 years... but the last 12 months its gone over the top.
I got my one and only AJ when I was about 5. I never new Mego had so much out.
Now in the last 3 months I have got 5 more AJ's (I think the AJ was the best looking figure, followed by the Superheroes... all the rest. well.. not so good) and am getting Retro Star Trek. My main Figure Collecting is the Doctor Who ones.

Anyway... Its good to be here.. and I should learn alot more of Mego stuff.

Hello,
I've been trying to resist the lure of starting a mego collection for a while but finally crumbled and of course with getting interested in megos I have ended up here. Being a child of the 70's I have fond memories of mego and being surrounded by stuff like Micronauts, Star Trek and the old monsters. Mainly though I remember the Star Wars scaled stuff, the Buck Rogers and the Black Hole figures. I especially remember that, living in the arse end of nowhere as I did, toy stores were few and far between and the selection of figures available was very narrow. In fact the only Buck Rogers figures you could get were Buck himself and Twiki. I spent many hours gazing at the card backs and dreaming of owning a Tigerman or a Draconian guard. It was the same with the Black Hole figures and I vividly remember one Christmas when I finally did a couple of the figures the rubber bands inside them had perished and the figures literally crumbled to pieces when I opened them! Anyway I'm starting to ramble now so I'll round this first post off by saying that so far my modern collection is limited to a couple of the repro star trek figures but I am eyeing an original soldier ape on Ebay at the minute. Hello to everyone and sorry for the inane ramblings.
