Richard here ... Glad to be aboard ...

Will be celebrating a milestone (or is that millstone) next month...turning the big 5-0, so that definitely qualifies me as a 60'schild. I arrived at my great admiration for megos via the 12" Captain Action and GI Joe Adventure Team route back in the day. Having retained my love of science fiction and comics over the years (I have a VERY understanding wife who is 15 years my junior), my action figure urges were recently kept in check by 9" DC figures and famous covers and the occasional Mego (as well as more traditional action figures like the 6" DCUC and new MOTUC collector line) but the recent EMCE offerings (as well as Castaway and CTVT) have reignited my mego collecting in a big way. My wife was puzzled what to get me for the big 5-0 until she saw an a photo online of the EMCE Trek line.... (and I didn't have all of them yet...).

Now, if I could just afford some of the great Mego customs I see around here!!

                    Hello

Hi Mego fans. My name is Tim and I am in Illinois. I was born in 1971 and have an older brother. We had so many megos growing up it hurts my head thinking of how musch stuff we lost or broke. I just became a registered member, but have come to the site for years. I've used it as a resource since I began recollecting my old 8 inch figures. I have alot of Christmas morning pics of mego treasures that i hope to share soon.
