    The Avengers

In celebration of the Avenger's movie. I was saving some of my shots of my Avenger's Mansion I'm working on. I've been really creative making this thing out of a Barbie Townhouse, some cardboard backgrounds and some pieces for the roof. Sadly, I am still tweaking it.
    But
I'll just post the ones that feature Avengers characters. If someone like Dr. Strange is in the background.....yes, even he has been an Avenger in recent comics. I'm surely no Captain Mego when it comes to creating customs but I try to keep things fun for my daughter who still is giving me ideas even though she is a teenager now
Some of you who have not seen my W.I.P. ideas or are friends with me or connected with me on Facebook have not seen all of these.
I like to keep some original Megos around like Green Goblin or Falcon....etc. Otherwise most of them have been altered or fixed up in a custom form.

WARNING: Lots of pictures (I'll just pick ones that look interesting. There are a lot of them I won't post in case some of you have a slow connection.)

    Unmasked:

2nd flooring. You can see my shot of the one with the window of a city background I am working on.

Hard to see but you get the idea.....

Downstairs: (I may retake these later with a light inside there. Notice my Thing's size has been corrected.)

    X-Men visiting...

    Hawkeye being naughty. -pinch-

    Roof...

    The REAL NICK FURY:

Great job on everything! I can't wait for the mansion to be completed! Oh Hawkeye, you just can't stop, can you?

The event where the fans are separated from the true fans.

It's driving me nuts! Once I think I'm done then I will find a piece at a flea marker that will fit the roof. The side poles had to be reinforced because as you know Dr. Mego bodies are a little heavy (add about 20 on each level just for a picture session) and the cheap plastic floors begins to buckle.

Then I picked up some clearance Ghostbusters figures came out with those brick walls and that Pumpkin head thing along with that female that made a nice Powergirl (added big boobs). I bought two of the duel packages because the brick walls looked good covering the sides of the mansion.

The second floor is the best because I found that cool picture of a city at night and took the thing out of the frame and slid it over the Barbie townhouse windows. It makes it look more comfortable and gives the illusion you are way up above the city on some tall floor.

I think I'll be done soon. I covered up that yellow elevator with yellow craft foam paper (just so I could cover up the hearts and flowers grafted into the plastic.)
It's just a matter of time.....but when I say that I find something else like the power generator on the roof where Electro is at the moment.
    Hey, it's a hobby.

Actually funny how you bring that up. Awhile ago I picked up a whole bunch of Wizard of Oz Megos at an consignment store and sold all of the boxed ones and kept the loose wizard that was missing his shoes.
I slipped on some black Mego shoes and I have been debating on recasting/painting the head so that it resembles Jarvis.
Jarvis will definitively have a ridiculous looking smile on his face but he'll be one happy butler. He will be Jarvis after he took at hit off a blunt.

There may have been a shot of him in the back in one of those photos.

It's a sticker printed out on gloss photo paper. I designed it on the computer and printed it out.
