    Your street name?

I am going to go with Skittles. Just because it sounds cool. Or at least I think it does anyway. That and I like the candy.

If you had a street name whether it be just for fun or for real what would it be? I am not talking your street address name I am talking about a gang like member name.

I have met a couple of real life street names in my life.

Their names were Cakes and Powder. There are more I just cannot remember their names right now.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

Well, my older brother's favorite nickname for me was always "Icky", so I think I'll still clear of that one.

When I was younger, I liked the nickname "CLAW" which is actually an acronym for my full name---Christopher Lee Anthony Weppler.

So, yeah, if I had a street name, I'd be Claw....
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I was afraid someone would ask this question. I got labeled back in 1984 by a co-worker. He was (and still is) a huge David Letterman fan. He comes in one morning and tells me that the top 10 list the night before was ELVIS' names in movies (I am a big ELVIS fan). And then he says that ALL 10 of the names on the list were Rick (I guess he is named Rick in more than one movie). Now, I haven't seen all of the movies, but I have seen a few. I replied that wasn't true, he was Deke Rivers in "Loving You" for one thing. Well, this is the funniest thing in the world to him so he nicknames me Deke on the spot. That followed me from job to job. Not many people call me that today, but a few of the guys who go way back still do. What's even funnier was that the owner of the company back then heard them calling me Deke and thought it was Duke, so he started calling me Duke. Well, this was even funnier to all of them and then they started calling me Dekie Duker. Thankfully, that one never stuck.

A few old friends still call me J-Pox.

My first name begins with J and I got the chicken pox as a young adult.
