Popeye's vs KFC

The Popeye's near my house closed a couple weeks ago (and Popeye's is from Louisiana). I never cared for their chicken, only their red beans.

I like original recipe KFC.

But I would rather have Raising Cane's more than anything

KFC extra crispy is way better then anthing Popeyes has

Popeye's chicken is way more juicie inside and the coating melts in the mouth.

KFC chicken is kinda dry and tastes a little like frozen Banquet boxed chicken

I just started going to Popeye's. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd still probably have to pick KFC though if it came down to it.

My friends told me to try Popeyes, I haven't eaten KFC in a decade so I went. My food arrived before I was done paying, that's never a great sign. Maybe I went to a bum one but it tasted like bad heat lamp food I'd get at a gas station.

I prefer Swiss Chalet.

My local Popeyes has a lot of business and a fast turnaround ... In comparison my local KFC never has any customers there and is a hangout for mostly hoodlums.

So i'm sure that makes me a little bias

Popeye"s their chicken is awesome! way better IMO than KFC.

I liked Popeye's better too, but all the Popeye's in this area pulled out. None in Lexington or Georgetown now. Haven't tried Raising Canes. I've heard good things. I like Chicks-Fill-A too. Lee's Famous Recipe has been here for years, and on average their chicken is better, but they seem to have lots of up and down swings. They recently renovated and got a nicer staff. Must be a new manager.

Best fast food fried chicken I had was a place in North Carolina called Church's. Like Popeye's, but better.
