4NDR01D's Custom Toy (Kaiju, Aliens & Monsters)WIP Thread

Here's some stuff I've been working on, perpetually works in progress as I'm a total scatterbrain and completely unfocused. I go through weeks of being inspired and then months of not being able to do anything. Hopefully by sharing some of this stuff I can get motivated to finish some. For once.

Also, let me just thank all the creative people on the board for being inspirational, lots of talent here: sculpting, painting, writing, illustration etc,

    here goes.

just a funny head sculpt, approx 8" by 6" polymer clay over a ceramic head base, using the base to learn from, kinda cheating, but I can re-use over and over and keep expermenting.

Approx. 5" polymer clay sculpt with base layer of paint.

a couple 12" aliens I made around 6 years ago, I'd like to do some mego sized ones in the future. Was gonna put a spacesuit on green guy so I wouldn't have to paint the body. Think I've changed the eyes on mr.purple there.

approx 3 foot tall homemade Kaiju.

My attempt at sculpting a weird-oh/rat fink styled greasy rocker.

I removed the dot from the eye, it'll be painted in later.

let me know what ya think.

I especially like the first sculpt. Very nice, man. I don't think I could do that, and it's inspiring. I'd really like to see a sculpt like that if you were using acrylic dolls' eyes for a super-realistic look.

Love em. That cute creepy look that Wally Wood did so well, lives in each one. And that weirdo guitarist, Rules!
