not really scarcity , the earlier ones do seem to sell pretty good but most look like crap...Like the T1 Kyle Reese, a couple of the Alien ones, The Blade and Wolverine sell for over $500 everytime it seems

I love the Hog Toys figures. I have 10 or so and have several pre-ordered. But, when they keep re-issuing figures, even with changes, I don't see how they will continue to escalate in price.
There are already 3 Heath Ledger Jokers out there and another one is coming out this year. I'm sure there will be another Bale Batman, too.
And with a Wolverine movie set to begin filming, I'm sure there will be another. Supposedly they will have an X-Men First Class line, too, and I'm guessing Man of Steel if the film doesn't tank like Green Lantern, which was planned but dropped.
But, they are great figures.
