Question about repairing a Batgirl belt

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a glue that works well on Mego belts?? I have been having great difficulty with a Batgirl belt. I tried Loctite Plastic/fabric adhesive, epoxy, hot glue - to no avail. I am ready to give up

    Thank you in advance
    Joe

I've tried crazy glue, but it really didn't help too much...is it Batgirls pouch you are trying to reattatch? If so, I'd just put a small peice of tape behind it to attatch it to the belt.

I'm having the same issue trying to reattach the belt to a Green Arrow quiver. Still looking for solutions.

    Thanks,

i have my Batgirl, which I bought from a member here (can't remember who), the pouch is held on by a small piece of tape and unless you took the belt off you could not tell. i like life to be simplified. why complicate things trying to find a glue that works when a piece of scotch tape works just as well?

Tape won't cut it with the quiver though. Let me know what you get from Paul, I'm anxious to find out. Thanks!

I fixed a Batgirl belt (broken purse of course) with epoxy once. It worked pretty well, I owned her for several years after that, and it continued to stay attached.

I had tried a whole bunch of different epoxy glues - there are so many different ones! The last one that I used was plastic epoxy - needless to say, it only held on until I tried to put the belt on and then it fell off!

I think the tape idea is good too - it is simple!!
