I don't think I've ever seen a nice, carded one sell at auction. In today's market, what would you consider to be a fair price range for this piece?

With that being said, to my untrained eye, this carded Creature looks pretty minty to me. Why do you feel it's overpriced? I'm asking because I'm hoping to own one of these one day, so I'd like to educate myself as much as possible on both loose & carded AHI Male Creatures.

Oh i should explain, somebody cut the header off that card, it's been mangled.

why would anyone want to cut off the header to beginn with that's not cool to do that rather the header on there even if it had a stain,mark etc. you know

Over the years, a number of carded figures from this line have surfaced with the top banner cut off the card, some with well cut hang tabs punched in the character name logo. It's purely speculation, but it's been postulated that there might have been a threat or potential threat of trademark conflict from Mego, which led to a brief period of the banner being physically removed from produced product. For sure there were runs produced both without "Official" on the card and with the word de-emphasized in smaller black type. No one from either company has ever made any comment about such a thing happening, but I'd love to ask Marty (and anyone at all from Azrak-Hamway).
