As a HUGE Avengers fan, I was kind of apprehensive going in. I thought it would be OK at best.

I was wrong.

I had a total nerd-gasm over this film. Last night, I became a man. Well, a very nerdy man.

Dark Knight is my all time favorite superhero movie alongside the first two Superman flicks...and yes...Dark Knight Rises is at top of my must see list...followed by Prometheus...then The Avengers...and then The Amazing Spider-Man...and finishing off my must see list is Men in Black 3...

Yes he is...I'm not such a hardcore traditionalist...passage of time requires some changes at times.

Look at the film versions of Batman, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, X-Men, etc...they have different costumes than from the comics.

Superman's new costume reflects his alien origins more...it just makes sense.
