Any thoughts on the buffet at Wheeling Island? Its really good food, great variety and only 10 minutes or so away.

I'd say more like 5 minutes on this option. Not too far.

Oglebay Resort has some nice features too. Maybe worth exploring.

I'm planning on sending my lovely spouse to the spa there once again for the Saturday. There is apparently a zoo, golf course and hiking in there as well.
