What I really miss is the Wonder Bread Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica cards. It is too bad they they stopped putting those in with the bread. On the other hand though at least all of the bread is in tact now and now ripped open in the stores any more. LOL!!

Star Wars, Wacky Packages, the marvel stickers with the goofy captions, I think there were some monsters stickers in letters? CE3K
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

Man, my mom used to get annoyed at me when I used to squish the bread to one side so I could get my cards or stickers.

Wow, thats a great topic. There's so many to list, so I'll go with my favorites for now. Aliens, Battlestar Galactica, Dune and Star Wars.

I remember Mork, Close Encounters, Wacky Packs, and Star Wars.
There was also a line that has various rock groups, including Kiss and several others that I can't remember right now. I wanted the Kiss cards, and hated having to get the others in the pack with them.

Still have all my Star Wars card.
A complete run from all the first 3 movies.
    Including the stickers.
With a handful of Wonderbread cards thrown in (my mom didn't buy WB so I never got them when they first came out)
I also have quite a few cards that came either in cereal boxes, or on them.

I never had the collect them all mentality with the cards, but I have a ton of King Kong, and a smattering of all the others mentioned above. In a fit of nerdiness, I went through getting a bunch of Battlestar Galactica ones off of ebay, but looked for wax packs that had yet to be opened to see what I got. That stopped after about 10 packs and my mind caught up with me again

I might have purchased a single pack of Charlie's Angels cards, but Star Wars, SMDM, and PotA were my main ones. And I'd forgotten all about cards being in loaves of bread until this thread. Cards were awesome to have in those pre-VHS days where you might go for ages without seeing your favorite characters.

Went to the Non-Sport card show on Sunday, managed to complete my yellow & blue Partridge Family sets, and came within 2 cards of the '66 Rat Patrol set. Found a bunch of Charlie's Angels- needed some stickers & got those, but nobody had the 5-6 cards I still needed.

Really a nice little show- had a great conversation with an artist named George Wright who does Wacky Packages art. And got some cards signed by a couple gorgeous Benchwarmers models. One of the dealers gave my daughter her choice of a free sealed box of cards-naturally she chose TOPPS' BATHROOM BUDDIES, sort of a Garbage Pail Kids style card of oddball people using the toilet! Nothing dirty, the usual gross-out GPK stuff for kids.

I'll be going back in the fall to the next show, now that I have an idea of what's there and the prices, I'll be sure to take a bigger list & some more cash.
