Thread: 23 figure lot

  1. Ya I saw that lot come on Saturday night with a buy it now of $250 and next thing I know it sold for $175.... Must have gotten an email asking if he would change the buy it now. I would have pulled the trigger for that one, not the $610 one, way to high unless you need every one of the figures and don't want to piece it together one by one, no money to be made if you take what you need and sell the rest in my opinion...

No the high bidder is named 'cape collector' he buys up lots much like Benbarb and resells them at a higher cost after he parts them all together with repro items or originals. He isn't a highly recommended individual to deal with.

  3. Still not sure he will make much, I went down through the figures and priced it all out 1 by 1 and still couldn't come up with that value, I was going on the conservative side, although some prices are really crazy lately for certain figures so maybe he will make some money on them....

As for the lot that started this post...I don't think you'd clear $600 if you took all those figures and split them up. Its just quantity over quality and I never trust a lot auction with clutterbomb pictures. I always think the seller is trying to hide something. In this case it looks like there's a lot of soiling on some of those suits and it's almost impossible to tell if anything is broken.
