Plastic sleeve on Ururas head

I was just wondering if anyone knew why some 1974 Mego Uruhas have a plastic sleeve around their heads and others don't. Does it effect the value at all?

I never seen one that didn't.

I would suspect ones that didn't have the sleeve as possiblly have been resealed.

I just purchased an Uhura that does not have the sleeve on its head from a guy who tells me he has had it in his collection for 25 years. I have not received it yet but I am hoping everything is cool with it and it has not been resealed.

When collecting, NEVER trust the word of ANYONE -- unless you know them.

There are so many people in this hobby that are flat-out liars....

They will tell you ANYTHING just to get your money.

One advange of Mego Museum is anyone like that is usually found out fast and booted.

If you don't know something always ask here on the Museum FIRST before you buy
