    Asian female characters in Mego scale?

    I'm trying to create a custom of an Asian female character in Mego scale but I cannot find a suitable head.

    Does anyone have any ideas for what would work?

    Mego, CTVT and other brands I've checked are mostly caucasian characters....

      What characters are you planning to recreate in Mego scale?
      Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
      Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

      To do list:
      1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
      1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

            If this is who you are talking about, it wouldn't take much to sculpt over a caucasian female head if you can find one that is not bobble-headed.

            And I think Mikey's right...a repaint of this may get you psylocke if you just redid the hair if this is what you want to accomplish. You can probably resculpt over this and get the female Kato you are looking for.

              @jessica- No, I mean the female Kato seen in the 1990 comic. I still think of her as "new"- LOL.

                Oh! I really don't know what you mean because I don't read comic books! LOL!!!

                  I'm pretty sure from all the garage kits over they years you could find one with a head in scale. The problem with using models.... especially of Japanese comic characters.... is that the scale tends to be subjective and the designs and physiques don;t always translate properly into something that works as a custom figure. You've got to eyeball them yourself.

                  The OTHER problem is the cost: some kits are pretty pricey. Sometimes you can luck into a semibuilt one, or a cheap one.... if you contact the producer directly they'll sometimes send you just a part. (I've got a few that way.)
