I :heart: my sales rep
So last YEAR when the new Captain Action toys were teased to us, I asked my sales rep when they would be getting them in. He didn't know what I was talking about.
After the deluxe sets started to show up for pre-order at Amok and BBT, I called in again and asked if the company I use for distribution was going to carry these. My rep said he would need to check with the supply folks and that he would get back to me. After about a week he shot me a note stating he did not think the Round2 Captain Action items were going to be available through his company. They showed up for pre-order on his site the following day.
Fast forward to now and the sets are starting to hit brick and mortar as well as the specialty online shops and I have not heard anything about the pre-order I placed the minute I saw them come up on my dists site. So - I call up my rep again and ask if he can get me an eta for them. His answer - they haven't seen them in the warehouse yet, so probably end of the month; perhaps even early next month. 2/3 of my order ships the following day.
I love retail sometimes.
