She was brought back to be a rather antagonistic character, but that initial odd set up with her and Supergirl did in fact spin out into it's own storyline. Particularly since long time readers know about Cat's really tragic history with the Toyman (he murdered her son)

You'll appreciate this one then... In the New Avengers, Brian Bendis had to write a scene to explain how Spider Woman got her powers back. Frank Cho draws the scene, but includes a gag which somehow ends up slipping past both Bendis and editorial. No one notices what he's actually drawn until this is published....
