Yeah, I am getting really sick of the speculators. Every time someone farts the gas goes up. No pun intended there.

I AND i am sure all of you have noticed the stupidly high prices for 12 inch figures as well as atatues, they are slowly being priced out of the regular consumers price range, and targeting the hard core collectors. I am not sure this will be enough to support the lines, so if they continue to raise in price, i say as James T. kirk said it TREK 6, LET THEM DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had planned on getting the First Appearance Batman and Golden Age Catwoman whenever I finally found them. Well, I found them at Target earlier this week for the same price each... $19.59!!!! I didn't even have to think twice about leaving them on the pegs. $15 for a mass-market figure at this size and style was the highest I was willing to pay.

I've been a Batman focus collector for over 20 years and have been trying hard, lately, to curb my spending and try to not buy "everything." Thanks, Mattel, for helping me with my first steps away from die-hard collecting. You're the best.

I was at one Wal-Mart in Lexington yesterday, and they had tags set up for the DKR toys, and empty pegs for Batman Legacy figures. They were still under $16 there. Still that at TRU in Lex too, and they had 1st Appearance Batman and GA Catwoman.
