Vintage Star Wars Custom Figures - Lots of pics

Several years ago, I got a great price on a vintage Star Wars lot. Since I already had most of the figures, I thought I'd try my hand at 3 3/4" custom action figure making. Now finally, I've finished a few. Some are just repaints and head swaps, but some involve some sculpting and modifying.

Although it's not Mego, I thought there might be some members that have an interest in vintage Star Wars.

Dr. Evazan (My own sculpt of the head, Han body with major modifications, custom gun)

Wow, fabulous work. That Moff Tarkin is incredible and the rebel soldier... And the Luke with medal... Well all of them are ... Are... So cool. And they look so vintage which is a big plus.
BTW the Han in stromtrooper amor isn't so easy to do, I made a poor one years ago and I know that when you cut the helmet to place a Han head that leave a big hole in the torso but your is perfect.

Those are really great. You've managed to keep that vintage Kenner look in all of them.

Moff Tarkin is the best! That's exactly how I wanted him as a kid. Great job on the others too!

Very nice, what material did you use for the heads/body, was it sculpty?

                      excellent Klassic Kustoms.
So nice to see these done as five joint interpretations we could have seen on the shelves of our youth. I like the modern multi jointed figures; but the simple 5 cut joint figures will always pull on my inner 8 year old heart strings. Great job, and thanks for the recipes.

Luv how you kept the vintage style. Great job!!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw those. If you put them on vintage styled cards you might have killed me.

If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I used Milliput Fine White for any additions sculpted on. It adheres really well to the vintage plastic.
