Saw tonight's. They got Man Of Action to write it. You could tell. It had a Ben 10 feel to it.
It's losing me. I know this is for a younger demographic but until now I coulld stomach all of the past shows but this one is giving me problems. It's too sophmoric.

I totally missed this thread.....started one without seeing this....but yeah I dig it.....
I didn't care for it too much at first, but it's kind of grown on me as I've watched it more (although the title of it really should be SPIDER-MAN AND HIS ULTIMATE FRIENDS). I like the fact that Spidey looks more Romita-esque than past incarnations have and that his eyes are able to convey expression (although sometimes I think the animators get a little too carried away with it). By far, my biggest gripe is with NOVA, simply because I'm a Nova purist and I would much rather this be Richard Rider as Nova that Sam Alexander (although apparently that's who they're pushing in the funny books, too). I liked the idea they came up with for Venom (since they didn't want to use the whole alien symbiote thing) and I'm liking that Norman Osborn is basically the whole driving force behind Doctor Octopus. I will be curious to see how they handle a throwdown between Spidey and Doc Ock and/or the eventual Green Goblin...
Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
This week's episode was not as bad as the previous 3. But it wasn't a home run either.
The Venom sewer jokes got old fast.
