this is rediculous!! batman- molded cowl- t2 body. NPP INC 1972 HEAD/ MEGO CORP REG. U.S. PAT. OFF PAT PENDING HONG KONG MCMLXXI on back, flesh colored waist. what the hell do i have!?? ive seen claims of original without roman numerals and with colored waist's. is it orginal/ copy, early? late? foreign?? pieced together?? anyone out there have an idea cuz i cannot find any web site or thread that confirms what i have...any info is better than nothing. can anyone help a guy out here?

youd think with all the mego sites and info that this could be easily resolved with a few clicks of the mouse..maybe ill check for a copy at the library...

Well, when you get into variations, there are quite a few. A 'click of the mouse' doesn't quite answer that question as well as Ben's book, which covers PAGES and PAGES about just Batman alone. And you really need to see the pictures to appreciate the differences. It's a worthwhile investment. Until then, you can post pics here and we would be more than happy to help.

It's pretty extensive, especially where Batman is concerned.

i did check out the gallery.. i used it to refrence the batman before i bought it. my concerns are with what the museum doesnt address. the back of the head,and the copyright on the back of the body.. also the colored or flesh colored waists..
I just bought the book, was shopping around and here's what I found: almost $300 bucks new on Amazon, cheapest "Good" condition used $263.00...
Buy.com $33.12 NEW...wow. Glad I shopped around!

um.... colored or flesh pelvis?? doesn't really make much of a difference.
