    Friendship is Magic.

Calling out to the MLP fans, collectors and Bronies. Don't be shy there's no shame. I think MLP Friendship is Magic is a fun, positive and wonderfully written show. Love the show. Love the toys.

    What are your fav characters?

Mine are Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Princess Luna.

What are your top 5 fav episodes?

Mine are: Feeling Pinkie Keen, Party of One, Luna Eclipsed, Putting Your Hoof Down and Green Isn't Your Color

    Toys:

I'm really psyched we are finally getting Nightmare Moon and Zecora figures and From what I've read Zecora is going to glow in the dark. Awesome! High on my list on unmade characters now are Granny Smith and Big Mac (Eeyup!). I still want a show accurate Princess Luna.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

So the whole "Brony" thing is real, not an ironic put on?

Not being sarcastic here, I discovered the word yesterday. I didn't even know there was a new MLP series on TV (which is weird because I have a 6 year old daughter).

I was watching some footage of a MLP convention that almost entirely 20something men yesterday and I found it surprising.

My daughter watches this. I understand the creator is doing the Super Best Friends Forever shorts on DC Nation. The first segment was a lot of fun.

Oh, that I have seen and it's awesome. If the same people are behind this, then I can see why there is a fan base.

I like how Wonder Girl is very Greek, and Supergirl is a bit...chunky? Thick? Gives them character.

Yes, I agree on that and noticed it myself. Supergirl is supposed to be powerful, i thought it was perfect.

Kind of a call back to Power Girl, and her...thickness.

As for Bronies, I just heard about it here in the last month or so. I had no idea...

Brony used to just mean the male MLP fans but now I think it's starting be used more and more to cover any fan outside of the original target demographic. It's a fun and smartly written show that has become popular with women and men of all ages.

I see, the report I briefly saw yesterday had a lot of cheekiness to it and I assumed it was a put on ala The Onion. The CBC link posted above sheds more light.

I have never seen the show, but I've followed and always admired the creator who brought it back to the air.

Having reviewed her credits, so has my whole family. I had no idea, I'll have to point my wee one to this show, it seems tailor made.

Awesome! The show is great. It has so many things going for it. It's fun, crazy and slapstick. It's innocent and sweet without being sugary or condescending to girls. The characters are deeply fleshed out with their own personalities and quirks. It's also beautifully animated and wonderfully voice acted.

One of my favs: Feeling Pinkie Keen

I forgot to mention the toys are also a pretty good deal. $5 for a Pony is pretty cheap compared to other toys like $9 for a SW figure, $16 for DCUC and $20 for Marvel Legends.

We love MLP in our house. A very smartly done show for little girls. It is THE only show we record for my daughter that I don't mind having to sit through over and over and over and over again. The toys are great, and priced right.
