NEW AVENGERS PICTURES!! Captain America, Loki, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury!

Cap's outfit is slowly growing on me. This picture particularly makes it look super cool.


Cool to see that they're including Cap getting unfrozen, since that was never shown in TFA. Plus, we get to see the WWll costume again! It's a win-win!


Bad-*** Loki in Central Park (I think) with people (he's controlling?) surrounding him.


The God of Thunder himself, no doubt after the 3-way fight between himself, The First Avenger, and The Iron Avenger (see what I did there? )


Widow looks very serious serious. I wonder what's wrong. Is she determined?.....Maybe she's ticked at Fury for saying "Gentleman, you're up." when she was sitting right there at the table.


Hmm….Hawkeye looks upset too…. or determined as well. Or maybe she and Hawkeye got in a lovers quarrel?


Awesome! Fury gets a S.H.I.E.L.D. outfit!

So, with all of these new pictures, does it raise your expectations for The Avengers? I know that it does for me, especially the photo that shows Cap being unfrozen. I'm just so glad Whedon's including that!

Yeah, I'm really excited about that. (Can you tell? ) And it's weird, certain shots I don't like it, yet close-ups, without the mask, and battle-damaged all look great. It's wierd, but I'm glad that in the end, I'll like it on the big-screen.

I am getting psyched to see this movie. I am not sure about cap's suit. I really liked the one in FA. Hopefully it looks better in the film. Cool pic defrosting him

Things get akward when Cap realizes that he's the same age as the man he's talking to.


"Hey buddy, what the hell are you doing in the bushes? Why is your right hand moving so much? Hey!"


"Why couldn't my cameo be with Scarlett Johansson..."


I approve of the cameo! Excelsior indeed, Mr. Lee!

I noticed that the Cap action figure has the ears uncovered. That might have kept the helmet from looking so bobble head like.

I lke the pics I'm seeing, I still think they could've found a way to give Cap his trademark cowl wings, just to add some dimension to the headgear. That and make his frikkin' "A" bigger like it's supposed to be.

My only other nit-picky comment is that I'd really like to see Thor actually DOING something rather than just standing there holding his hammer looking like he's waiting to do something. One thing about Kirby and Simonson's Thor---even when he wasn't doing anything, he still looked like he could easily kick your arse!!!
