I hope the body on Kirk is more of a flesh color the yellow look it has in the picture.

I'd definitely be in to keep it all going.
Neptunian was the first Mego I traded in other toys to buy myself. He's one of my absolute favorites.
Having said that - I really don't need a repro of him. His price isn't as crazy as the Romulan/Mugato/Andorians of the world, so I would think he'd be a lesser seller anyway. Nep would probably be in Keeper territory as far as peg warming (I'm kind of surprised Keeper was produced early, without subbing in a screen accurate version).
I like the look for the Mirror guys a lot. I'll probably pick up a Spock.
Looking for Tong body style LHT/Australian release Ninjas of any color, and here's :::My Expansive Wants List::: WARNING: I am medical malady boy, and have recently proven to be chronic iffy-to-negligible-trader-response-guy. Like After School Special worthy. This is my self-imposed Scarlet Letter.
I love the EMCE/DST repros of the Trek and POTA because I don't have to spend a lot of money on originals and I am a very picky collector when it comes to condition. With the repros I can have case fresh examples of my favorite childhood toys. I was so excited when I first saw EMCE/DST were doing both series and it was a dream come true when I saw they were producing new characters that Mego never made. I was so disappointed when I found out that the POTA had been cancelled six figures short though I understand the reasons why. I was at least hoping they would complete the three remaining Mego Trek characters. That being said, I can settle for originals though it might take some time for me to find examples that I would be satisfied with in my collection. It would have been nice though to have had them all with the matching EMCE/DST cards without having to go through the trouble of trying to find and afford nice originals.
I can only expect that those are very rough mock ups, because they have a ways to go to before I'll be impressed.
I remember a couple of years ago when I was selling big quantities of the Retro's , I had offered to DST (and maybe even had a conversation with Paul at SDCC if memory serves me correct) that I would be willing to do the Rand and Chapel as exclusives or shared exclusives...
but, in the last 2 years, the dynamics have changed so much, that I would now NOT be willing to undergo that financial task... might be too late ?
So the way things stand now, you would think that these particular choices wouldn't make it anymore?
I'd guess that a Harry Mudd would fall into the same category then?
Similar figures in other lines, like Schmi Skywalker and Mon Mothma in the SW line, did get made. But I'm guessing they were poor sellers. I know that I wouldn't get excited about them, and kids certainly not.
The thing that does worry me a bit, is that the EMCE ST line is moving so slowly now, that the momentum has gone. Collectors want to ride that train, and see that new additions keep coming. While I would buy Mirror Mirror figures, it's not that "wow" feeling of "can't wait to get these!".
There are plenty more cool aliens in ST TOS, which I think would keep collectors and kids alike asking for more.
