How about an introduction thread

With the economy as it is, and the possibility of people ripping people off... how about an intoduction thread where we post who we are and our history concerning the love for this stuff. It might be a good way for some of us newer people to be known and to get to know all the rest.

If there was a way to like or vote on a post or a persons profile.. then the higher the rating the person had the more trustworthy they might be when it comes to transactions.. if you get my meaning.

No, we don't do that and I'm not sure we'd want to get into that whole feedback system. Know your dealer or ask for references and always protect yourself via paypal.

I've vouched for people that were "long time members" that eventually just did a heel turn and didn't make good, so even a sterling reputation can be worth only so much.

The majority of people are honest and those that aren't get a bus ticket out of here.
