I saw a few of these on ebay over the last couple of days. I know they are out there but don't know who made them or when.

Dead-on! There is no better place to find all of the megolike products in existence. These figures are absolutely on his site. I know because that is how I first learned about them.

I had a couple of them when they came out. I know I had Washington and Nathan Hale. I put the Washington clothes and head on a Mego. The head does not have a plug, it has a hole so it had to be crafted. The body is pretty cheap hollow plastic with only movable arms and legs.

I think if I am not mistaken they came out around 1976 for the bicentenial.

I bought mine at K-Mart, they were not in the toy section but were in bins up by the checkout isles. Targeted audience was more like grandmas or something (less action figure and more doll-like.)

                Manufactured by SS Kresge Co.

They are very cheaply made figures for the bicentennial. I did an article of the them awhile back with a lot of pics.
