A shame that they didn't get to make a Blue Phantom... based on the Netherlands colouring.

the red is a striking contrast to the regular purple.

It's amazing how well this character has stood the test of time in so many countries and yet he can't keep a comic title going to save his life. I have a handful of the old Charlton Comics and always picked them up when I saw them. I think the Phantom will always be something of an enigma to the general public. But to fans like us, he will always endure. In my eyes, he is the Godfather of superheroes. He was really one of the first to wear tights and to pose as all heroes do today. He influenced so many characters, it's impossible to count them all.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

Maybe if something were done in other media with him during the Baby Boomer years, he would have took hold more here in the States. You had the movie serial, and then 40 years later, the Defenders of the Earth toon. Most of the older characters that are still relevant today had some presence in the pop culture explosion of the 60s.

All super heroes definitely owe quite a bit to Kit Walker. I think that is overlooked too often.

    Me too.

I'd really love to see this line make a comeback.

I wonder if anyone has ever done a female Phantom.

  10. CastAWay Phantom

I completely missed these, so I'm afraid I'll be resorting to eBay and undoubtedly grasping my ankles...

So I'm assuming that the Cast-A-Way store has not been updated with the current status of stock? It still shows the FX Phantom and the dailies version as available.
