Isn't Popeye THE most marketed character ever? I remember reading an article about that a year or two back, but can't remember where.

Popeye spinach is still sold at grocery stores. I'm really surprised there hasn't been a new Popeye animated series or CG movie yet.

I love Popeye. As a kid I had this story record, and a Captain's hat, and wore both of them out. I did find that record again, along w/ a Talking View Master gift set I had as a kid, that included a Popeye reel. (as a kid, it was the first reel that was worn out!)

I'm surprised that when Pez made their Popeye,they didn't make spinach flavored Pez.

Something told me by the title of the thread that this was going to be Popeye related.
Like most of us here I use to watch Popeye as a kid. I liked Sea Hag.
