    Submission: KISS 8" figures

    [KISS/Alive II]
    Author: [Bryan Bossart (boss)]
    Line: [KISS]
    Toy Execution (Custom)
    Packaging Execution (Custom)
Packaging Customizers/Collaborators: [TBD - but I would like mike aka mego73]
Author Notes: [Love the line, KISS was at the height of their popularity. 12" line licensing had already been secured by Mego and these figures would be released concurrently with 12" versions (a la WGSH that came in both 8" and 12" size). The popularity of the figures would allow updated figures with new costumes in subsequent years. Figures with "older era" costumes could also be released if there was demand. these would be build on 8" bodies, but boots would make them taller than regular 8" megos. The heads would be made from existing mego sculpts with minor modifications (i.e. hair color, etc)]. Instruments and "props" could be sold separately.

    more pics to come...

My opinion is they are still 8" figures. The scale is 8", regardless of the boots because the platforms are also in scale to what they wore back in the day.

LOVE the new Ace suit BTW! Killer!

thanks Dave. By the way, my computer crashed a few months ago and I lost all pictures of my customs. I've got some unfinished KISS figures on the table right now, but would you mind posting some of yours if you have any?

    Thanks, Bo8a.

I've made the Gene's with removable tongues. I happen to like him without tongue better.
