I've always wondered how Hammond felt about the role looking back on it.
Good score if hes able to get it autographed.
There is a nice book published by TwoMorrows called "Age of TV Heroes". Hammond is interviewed, and he looks back on the show fondly. Seems like a nice guy.

Hammond brought Spidey to life in the 70's, so I will always have fond memories of him. They did the best they could at that time and that worked pretty good for me. I just wished they didn't have him crawling like a crab instead of a spider. But it would be a great experience to be able to get his autograph. Fond memories and from what I have heard, a very nice fellow. Congrats!
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

I have a few episodes on VHS. Makes me laugh. It's so bad it's good. Plus it gave me a quote I use all the time. "That yo-yo jumped out the window!". Peter had to make a quick exit to change in to Spider-Man to fight two guys in matching ADIDAS wear...

  7. They use to show the Spiderman movies on TBS all thru the 1980's. I remember a few of the storylines being pretty good, Im not sure how I'll feel about them now though. From what I remember it was a pretty good try for what im sure wasnt much of a budget.
