There's a reunion of the Sound of Music cast coming up in April in Burbank, and Nicholas Hammond is going to be there. I've got a buddy out in California who's going to take my vintage Spider-Man lobby card and get it signed for me!
First time Mr. Hammond's been stateside in a long time.

Yep! I still freaking LOVE that costume. Despite all the fancy new stuff, he's still the best looking Spidey after all these years IMO. His suit actually looks homemade, and those creepy insect-like eyes are just awesome.Originally Posted by Operation:Mego

Awesome! Although I was slightly bummed to learn Hammond didn't wear the costume that often. It was usually stuntman/coordinater Fred Waugh.
I did like Hammond as Peter though!

Congrats on snagging what is certain to be a great addition to your collection! And thanks for posting the actual lobby card; makes me realize how much they really did replicate Spidey's costume faithfully on the TV show. The colors, the weblines----all of them are virtually Romita, Sr. come to life!

I've always wondered how Hammond felt about the role looking back on it.

I like Hammond's Spidey costume except for the eyes...never liked those eyes.
