    I wonder if this guy is the same one from Craigslist who wanted $2,000 for a shoebox of 80s GI Joes all missing accessories and some broken.

    He told me people (including some of the biggest eBay sellers) only sell them for the prices I showed him because they are "desperate". Then kindly educated me that they were from the 80s, "which means they do not make them anymore" and that's why they cost that much.

    I hate stupid people.

    Yeah, one of the hardest parts of my job is politely explaining to potential clients that their treasures (an old box filled with '90s hess trucks, precious moments, and hallmark ornaments) aren't going to bring in the millions they've convinced themselves they're worth.
